What this part does on the machine

The air filter protects the engine from dust drawn into the intake. On construction and agricultural machines it is the hardest working filter of all, because the machine operates in dust you never see on a road. A clogged filter shows up in fuel consumption and power before any warning light.

Most machines have two of them, a primary and a safety element, and they look alike. The safety element is smaller and sits inside the primary one. They are easy to mix up, because the catalogue numbers differ by a single digit. Send us the machine serial number and we will confirm which goes where.
