What data we process

We process the data you enter in an inquiry: your name or company name, e-mail, optionally phone, machine details (type, serial number), a description of the part sought and your message.

Purpose and legal basis

We process the data to handle your inquiry, prepare a quotation and for related communication. The legal basis is pre-contractual steps at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest (point f).

Retention period

We keep inquiry data for as long as needed to handle it and thereafter for the period required by law or our legitimate interest (typically no longer than 3 years from the last communication).

Recipients

We do not share inquiry data with third parties for marketing. Only our service providers (e.g. hosting and e-mail) may process it, to the extent necessary to run the website. Data sharing with Meta Platforms Ireland concerns ad measurement only and happens solely with your consent, see the Meta Pixel section.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify or erase your data, restrict processing, object, and to data portability. You may also lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority.

Cookies and consent

Without your consent the website stores only technically necessary cookies: those it cannot run without, plus one that remembers your cookie choice. Such cookies do not require consent.

Marketing cookies and the Meta Pixel tracking code are loaded only after you allow them in the consent bar. Until then no marketing script is loaded and no marketing cookie is set.

You can withdraw your consent at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in the site footer. After withdrawal we stop using the Meta Pixel and delete the identifiers it stored in your browser (_fbp, _fbc). Your choice is stored for 12 months, after which we ask again.

Meta Pixel and data sharing

If you allow marketing, we use the Meta Pixel, a measurement tool of Meta Platforms Ireland Limited (Merrion Road, Dublin 4, Ireland). It is used to measure and target our advertising on Facebook and Instagram.

The Meta Pixel records which pages of the site you visited and which actions you took (page view, WhatsApp click, inquiry submission, catalogue filtering), together with your IP address, browser data and an identifier stored in a cookie. This data is transferred to Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, which processes it as a separate controller, or as a joint controller to the extent set out in Art. 26 GDPR. Transfers to the USA may occur on the basis of the European Commission adequacy decision (EU-US Data Privacy Framework).

The legal basis for this processing is solely your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. Meta terms are available at facebook.com/privacy/policy.
