Sensors tell the control unit what state the machine is in. When one of them reports nonsense, the machine often locks out or derates even though nothing is mechanically wrong. On telehandlers that is typically the load sensor the lift permission depends on.
A sensor cannot be chosen by looks or by connector. The number on the part decides, and often the software version in the control unit too. Photograph the label on the sensor and the error code on the display; together they pin down what you need.
