A machine carries several hydraulic filters and each has a different job: return in the tank, suction ahead of the pump, pressure behind it and a breather on the tank. An enquiry for a hydraulic filter can mean any of them, which is why we ask where it sits in the machine.

With hydraulics the micron rating decides. A coarser filter passes debris that takes out the valve block and the pump; one finer than the system expects raises pressure drop and opens the bypass, so the oil does not pass through the filter at all. We therefore match the replacement to the original, not to the size.

Today we mostly carry hydraulic filters for Takeuchi mini and midi excavators. If a filter is not in the catalogue, we source it by number or by machine type and serial number.
