On construction machinery the cab filter is usually a panel sliding into a frame, not a round element as in a car. The panel size decides and it changes with the cab build within one machine type, so the type alone is not enough.

Many cabs hold two filters: one for fresh air and one for recirculation. The second gets overlooked at service because it hides under the seat or behind trim, and it is usually the dirtier of the two.

A clogged cab filter does not stop the machine, it stops the operator. Ventilation output drops, the glass fogs and dust gets inside. It is the cheapest part in a service set and the one most often skipped.
