What this part does on the machine

The hydraulic filter keeps the oil clean in the circuit that a telehandler or excavator depends on entirely: lift, extension, tilt and steering. Contamination in hydraulics does not show immediately, but it destroys the valve block and then the pump.

A single machine often has several filters in the circuit in different places: return line, suction, steering, and a strainer in the tank. Each has its own number and they do not substitute for one another, even though they look similar. Tell us where on the machine the filter sits.
