The engine oil filter and the transmission or hydraulic filter are the pair most often mixed up in enquiries. Both are the oil filter, both are often spin on types and they differ in thread, sealing and filtration. Tell us where the filter unscrews from and it is clear first time.

Some oil filters have a bypass valve. A replacement without one means pressure across the element rises on a cold start and the filter can close up. If you know the original has the valve, say so and we will match it.

We carry both spin on filters and cartridge elements. It is the same filter in two builds and a machine takes only its own, because the housing on the engine decides, not the machine type.
